Membership
Shop members have regular access to our fully stocked workshop of lutherie tools. Shop membership is intended for those who already have lutherie experience, or have already taken a course here at Fretted Strings.
Shop membership includes an initial in-depth orientation to the shop, along with basic help in finding and operating our many tools and jigs.
Our 3 Membership Levels:
Novice
$250/monthly up to 6 hrs per week
Advanced
$350/monthly up to 12 hrs per week
Master
$500/monthly up to 24 hrs per week
Membership does not include instruction in the making or repairing of instruments. Nor does it include materials (such as wood, fret wire, bone blanks, shellac, or shell). These are available at an additional cost.
